basic stats

D.O.B.: March 18th, 1992
Blood type: AB
Height: around 5’8
Weight: 120 lbs at best. eat a goddamn sandwich

appearance
Jun is a pretty good-looking kid! He tends a bit towards hipster, but not too strongly. Mostly, he wears clothes that are comfortable, usually some variation of black high-collared shirt and his. Bright red lowrider jeans. Yes. Jun is never seen without his cat-shaped headphones and MP3 player, and he’s occasionally seen wearing the brilliant white cloak that denotes him as the Messiah. Never needs washing, that thing.

If he uses too much of his demonic-based powers, his appearance takes on some cosmetic changes, mostly denoting his new nature—his teeth become elongated and pointed, his nails grow out to claws, and his eyes become blood-red and have cat-slit pupils, as well as glowing with an eerie inner light. He will attempt to hide this, under most circumstances.

personality
Takashi Jun is not your average teenager. A week ago, he would have liked to be. A week ago, Takashi Jun was still mostly human. But then, even before the Lockdown, he really wasn’t the most normal kid. Blunt and generally a loner (with the exceptions of his best friends, Kihara Atsuro and Tanigawa Yuzu), Jun was never hugely sociable. He’s of the dry sort, often sarcastic and just a little bit of a troll. We blame it on prolonged exposure to Naoya as a child.

Jun loves every person who exists...period. There have been perhaps two exceptions to that ever, but he'd rather not get into it. During the Lockdown, Jun's seemingly inexhaustible belief that 'things would be okay' was what held his friends together, and his refusal to sacrifice so many in a war against God was why he chose to become the Messiah, even though he vehemently disagrees with the way the angels handled the Lockdown.

Unfortunately, it wasn't until after he made his choice that he was told the truth of his and Naoya's identity...and it wasn't until he became the Messiah that he was faced with the full realization of his rather grisly duty. He is plagued with regret and doubt for what he has become...compounded by the fact that the Bels he absorbed still retain their intense hatred of God. He fears what might happen if he loses control of his demon half, and he refuses to show anything more than a calm, carefree, almost flippant attitude around most people, even after the Lockdown has ended...with the exception of Allen Walker.

abilities
speed
Jun’s speed is one of his greatest strengths. Maxed speed fuckyeah He is inhumanly agile, able to run and jump and climb with a speed and grace that shames Olympic gymnasts. He’s fast enough to dodge bullets, and cheat at poker like a bastard. Allen, what have you done?

strength
Jun’s strength…is probably his weakest point, aside from his abysmal durability. It’s not awful--he had to beat Beldr with his bare hands and a cellphone strap—but it’s nothing extraordinary. He’s decently strong, but just that. Nothing special to report here.

magic
Ahh, Magic. As magical power goes, Jun’s is immense. He reached the upper limit of human magical capability…and kept going. Because of the demons he absorbed to become the King of Bel—and the innate power of being a ‘Child of God’ that was unlocked when he became the messiah—Jun’s magical power is literally unrivaled in his own world, and while it is extremely restricted in Marina, it’s still extraordinary.

Jun has access to a massive number of spells and magical abilities—a full list will be coming shortly. He has passive abilities as well—for the sake of Marina, these are ward he must set, and he’s just not bothering at the current point in time. His typical usage of spells includes Holy Dance, Diaharan, and various elemental spells. He’d much rather use his power for healing, but alas. He also possesses an ability that he is loathe to use in a non-war situation--Drain. Drain does what it says on the tin, draining health and energy from a victim to use them for himself. It's a powerful spell, and Jun is extremely wary of it, particularly given he can't control how much he takes...and he's more than likely capable of killing someone with it.

Headcanon;

--Jun is left-handed; but due to strict rules about what hand you can hold chopsticks in while he was growing up, he eats with his right.

--He can't swim. Attempts to teach him have resulted in borderline hydrophobia. He tends to try not the think about the fact that he now lives several miles under the ocean.

--Jun's best subjects in school were Music and Literature; his worst were Math and Science, due to Naoya's special tutoring method by geta-beating.

--He's somewhat lousy at poker--however, since he became a demon, he's discovered he can abuse his superhuman speed to cheat. And does so with great glee.

--None of Jun's previous romantic relationships have lasted very long--the longest was a girl who he suspected saw ghosts, and lasted for three weeks until she met Naoya. At the sight of him, she shrieked in horror and ran, and the next day broke up with him at school. Jun highly suspects Naoya sabatoges most of his relationships, and adds it to a list of 'reasons to punch my brother in the face'.

--Yes, he has a list written down.
