Originally born as Lind Wanijima, Akito and Agito are two split personalities both contained within the same body, a condition known as Multiple Personality Disorder (or DID for those wanting to be politically correct)

Background:

The boy's past is known by few, mostly from his own choice. Neither Akito or Agito like to talk about it.

 

Born Lind Wanijima, neither half of the teen remember anything of the time spent with that name. As far as he knows, Akito has always been who he is, living with his older brother Kaito Wanijima, whom he affectionately calls Onii-chan. Living in an RV in Japan, the boys lived in a world beginning to become obsessed with Air Treck.

 

Air Treck, or AT, were essentially two-wheeled rollerblades with motors in the wheels. When worn by one who knew what they were doing, they allowed amazing tricks to be performed, such as defying gravity and riding up vertical surfaces, leaping through the air. Each rider had a specific way to ride, creating 'scars'. These 'scars' built up over time to form a 'road'. The best riders of the road were known as the Kings, owners of the Regalia, powerful AT parts only used and mastered by the Kings.

 

Akito, by himself at this time, was brought up learning how to AT by his brother. Kaito had become a part of the police force, charged with taking down people who were misusing them for crimes. He trained Akito to help him, and while Akito was more than happy to help his brother, he didn't notice his beloved older brother changing, beginning to hate all riders. Kaito kept training him, and within time, Akito's natural ability earned him the title of Fang King of the Bloody Road, in possession of the Fang Regalia. Integrated into Kaito's SWAT team, Wind, he fought to bring down a band of criminals.

 

When his brother told him to ride how he'd been taught, he did. And was devestated to find that his training cause him to kill those riders. Kaito, impressed and not wanting his 'pet' to escape, caged him. Akito was utterly devestated by this betrayal and retreated into his mind. It was then he first heard the voice who would take his place in Wind, ride and kill for him, becoming his protector and the one he loved more than all.

 

"What...you don't want to ride?

Then...I'll ride for you."

 

That was the moment Agito was born.

Personalities:

 

MPD:

An MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) is essentially when a single body has more than one personality within it. The term has now been changed to DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), but it's still the same thing.

 

Akito and Agito are two people living in the one body. They are quite aware of each other, to the point of being able to hear each other's thoughts (unless blocked from the other) and also being able to see one another, both in their mind and sometimes in the waking world (Agito once saw Akito standing to the side during one of his battles). They share control fairly evenly, and will often switch control without warning.

 

The eyepatch they wear dictates who is in control. If the left eye is showing, Akito will be out. If the right eye with slit pupil shows, Agito's in control. Though they never take it off except in special circumstances, if the eyepatch is ever removed switching between them becomes faster and more confusing for whoever they are talking to. It's entirely possible for Akito to start a sentence and have Agito speaking by the time it finishes. However, as mentioned, the eyepatch never comes off except in extreme circumstances.

 

I'll also add that if the patch is bumped and gets stuck right in the middle of their face, neither can take control. They'll be paralysed, unable to move until someone moves the patch. Like this, they are incredibly vulnerable.

 

To make distinction between the two easier, all of Agito's thoughts and words will be in blue font, while Akito's is black. This is not there ICly, it is a guide only.

Akito's the light, and he's a little ball of fluff and sunshine. He's totally open and carefree, hating to see others hurt and always willing to make a new friend. He'll go out of his way to avoid fights and strongly discourages others from fighting. Anything cute gets an instant love from him. He also adores ice-cream. The light loves nothing more than seeing his friends happy and will go out of his way to see them smile. Akito loves to have fun and has a beaming smile that can light up a room in a matter of seconds by itself. He's actually been known to sparkle when extremely happy.

 

Oh, he knows quite well that the world isn't all sun and fun. After what happened with his brother, he knows it. But he still loves Kaito, and he's hopelessly optimistic at times. He doesn't want anything happening to his friends and will trust far too easily. As a result, he takes betrayal incredibly badly, instantly retreating and letting Agito out. Akito also loves his other half. He adores Agito and won't stand for people calling him a personality. He considers Agito to be his own person and treats him as such, often talking out loud to him to try and include him in more things.

 

Agito's the dark, and a total 180 from Akito. He's almost always annoyed or angry, and incredibly easy to piss off. He can't seem to be able to make a complete sentence without throwing at least one swear word in, his favourite being 'fuck'. He's been called a shark before, and it suits him. Bloodthirsty to a point where it's hard to believe he came from Akito, the dark will never back away from a fight unless already injured and there's threat to Akito's health. He loves to fight and often seeks one out simply because he's bored.

 

Because of the reasons behind his birth, he hates Kaito with every fibre of his being. Agito wants nothing more than to kill the man, only stopping because Akito would hate him if he killed his brother. Agito doesn't claim family ties to him at all. To the dark, his entire world starts and end with Akito. He exists for the sole reason of protecting Akito. That reason comes before everything else, and every decision he makes has that hidden behind it somewhere. He loves his other half, though none know it but the light. Agito would go to the end of the world for Akito.

 

One thing that burdens him though is the thought that his existence eats away at Akito. He believes that if he continues to exist within their body, he will eventually destroy Akito. This makes him constantly watch over his other half. The day Akito can stand and walk on without him will be the day he fades away forever. Agito doesn't want to fade, but he knows that he must for Akito stay safe. He is resigned to his fate.

 

EDIT: It should be noted that when it comes to Lind, Akito and Agito are both uneasy around him. Agito hates him due to the fact Lind teases him constantly. Akito isn't sure around him, but tries to get along with the original.

Marina Aslyum: 

Agito was out when the two arrived at Marina shortly after a major match the giant team known as Behemoth. He wasn't at all pleased by the fact he'd regained the Fang Regalia only to lose it to Sentience.

 

Day 10:

- Arrived today! Agito made one unimpressed post.

- Confused Lelouch with Akito and himself switching mid-thread.

- Agito scared Fletcher. Akito switched over and calmed him down. Also, they met and briefly discussed AT and Marina. Hugs!

- Kenpachi pinged Akito and made Agito come out. They fought and Agito got his ass handed to him. He posted about it later. Larx beat him up some more and someone (Tear) healed him

 

Day 11:

- Akito talked with Euphie and nearly set her off. Agito got mad at Suzaku.

- Also had a brief run in with Knives. Akito doesn't like him.

 

Day 12:

- Pet cafe~! Met Osaka and Eve, and decided that he was so getting a pet~

- Talked with Russel when he posted. Also talked to Fletcher and decided he really wants nothing to do with Knives.

- Sometime later he visited Fletcher and his garden. Conversation without communicators occurred, and there was adorableness too.

- Later still, and worried about Fletcher.

 

Day 13:

- Quiet day...until Sora showed up. Agito wasn't impressed. Akito likes him~

 

Day 14:

- Agito was bored. And is now apparently teaching Roxas how to AT. Also, Fletcher is adorable.

- Talked with the Twins. A game, huh...?

- Oh. THAT kind of game. Oww. Fun, but oww.

- More checking on Fletcher.

- Agito thinks Kanami is hilarious.

- Akito's at work on Roxas' new AT.

- Also, game time!

 

Day 15:

- fdsafdsafds. Pets, pets, pets~! Acquired a black and white kitten named Kasumi.

- Kitty promptly gets into trouble. On the up-side, Akito got to meet Jade.

- Also caught up with Fletcher and his new puppy. Adorableness and AT geeking occured. Also, Agito appeared briefly. It's only a cage if you let it be.

 

Day 16:

- Another day, and a birthday! Happy birthday Fletcher~!

- Early morning post! Akito's just a little hyper. He's making Yuuri laugh~

- Roxas' AT are done and a training time was set up. First lessons gunna be a doozy~

- Akito greeted Aidou while Agito bitched at Roy.

- Sometime around now, Agito and Roxas had the first AT session. Agito enjoyed tormenting the poor boy far too much.

- It put him in a good mood for the party. Akito glomped the birthday boy and cute times ensured. Also, Japanese lessons? Sure~!

 

Day 17:

- Morning rising...and Akito's not feeling so good... A couple of offers of help are there, but he decides a nap is in order, and maybe some water and soup. If he can bring himself to eat. Agito's not impressed.

 

Day 18:

- Jade woke him up. A very sleepy Akito replied to his post and ended up with a visit from the man. The fact Jade's never had a hug before is highly disturbing to him, and thus, Akito has now resolved to make friends with the man.

- Agito made a post shortly after, not at all pleased at losing most of yesterday. Fletcher brought him coffee, which cheered the shark up immensely.

 

Day 19:

- What is it with this place and them getting sick? Poisoned thanks to a certain someone, the teen isn't feeling that good. Cielo comes to help, with much thanks. Also, demon form? Neat.

- Akito went to play in the rain later.

 

Day 20:

- Bad weather...? It's scaring Akito. He talks to Vash a bit, which cheers him up slightly.

- Orihime creeped him out again soon after, though.

- W-what?! What's happening?! Akito's hurt and confused. Roxas comes to the rescue.

 

Day 21:

- Agito awoke and wasn't happy. Plans were made with Roxas for more AT lessons.

- Akito switched over at some point and talked to Maya.

- He also complimented Hughes on having such a cute daughter~

 

Day 22:

- Early morning and Akito runs into Joshua at the clothes store.

- He's also confused at Yuuri's post, but gets no answer to his reply.

- Later on, Yuuri confirms that he's fine. Akito is relieved. They also talk about AT and baseball. Sounds like fun~!

- Aliens? What aliens? Sounds weird, he's going to help find them!

- ....fdsafdsa. FDSAFDSA. IKKI'S HERE! Akito went into immediate fangirl mode and Agito was highly unimpressed at everything.

- Agito also advised Fletcher to ignore the idiot Crow.

- Word games again, this time with Joshua!

- Agito made a post later at night. He was unimpressed with Suzaku and Grell, chatted idly with Yuuri, reassured Fletcher that he was fine and somewhat explained his Bloody Road, talked some more with Roxas, and met up with Ikki. Roxas was also introduced to said Crow.

 

Day 23:

- Akito was up at a decent time and chatted with Yuuri. Somehow Akito ended up telling the boy about his time in the cage. He went to play baseball with him ater in an attempt to forget the memories.

- Later, Akito talked with Xion and ice skated~ That was fun.

- ...and then Agito took over and a massive fight with Ed occured. Oh dear.

- Having been left in the column trap, Akito got scared and upset. Yuuri saved the day. The older boy stayed the night to keep him calm.

 

Day 24:

- Sometime in the night, Akito crawled into Yuuri's bed, a natural reaction for him. Yuuri woke up and was surprised. Agito woke up and wasn't impressed.

- Agito went for an early morning run. He (and Akito) talked with Fletcher, Xion watched him train, he met Len, and wasn't impressed with Axel.

- Yuuri mentioned the baseballs teams were up later. Akito talked with him and tried to cheer him up when he was down.

- That night, Akito started teaching Fletcher how to speak Japanese.

 

Day 25:

- Another new day~ Akito meets Len, Maya, and Axel. He also helps out the Nobody when he collapses. Silly thing pushing himself like that.

- Some time later, Agito went out for a run...and fell. Roxas and Len found Akito...with Agito apparently missing. What's happened to the shark?

- Yuuri scares Akito a little bit later, though Akito doesn't know it's him.

 

Day 26:

- Akito wakes up from a nightmare. Chuck and Len go to him to calm him down, at different times. Spike, Sora and Shallot talk to him. He also finds that Larxene is back, and is promptly freaked out.

- Talked with Fletcher about making a card to make Sentience feel better.

 

Day 27:

- Was upset that Sentience had to go to such measures. He talked with it for a little, asking if Agito could be returned to him. That cheered him up slightly.

- Chatted with Axel for a little while.

- Later, he helped out Fletcher, Xion, Len and Vash in making a card for Sentience.

 

Day 28:

- Talked with Fletcher when the kid made a speach to the asylum. Agreed at first to go and give the card to Sentience...however plans changed

- ...because Sentience said it could bring Agito back, and Agito >>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else.

- Reunitied! And Akito is so damn happy, it's not even funny. He talked with Yuuri, Fletcher, Chuck, Len and Suzaku. And also ignored Larxene.

- And Akira's here! Both sides of the teen talked with him, pleased by this.

- Later on, both Akito and Agito talked with Kitty. Akito was curious, and Agito was unimpressed.

 

Day 29:

- Morning post, and Akito thanked Sentience for bringing back Agito again. He also agrees a LOT with the idea of a party~

- He also met Nunnally.

 

Day 30:

- He only posted a little, but he was listening to the conversations when Rin arrived. She's a lot different to Len...

 

Day 31:

- Akito met Bakura and got to have cookies~

- He also talked to Nunnally 2.0. Another one?

- Akito and Agito both made a post looking for Ikki, since neither has heard from him in awhile. They confused the hell out of Roxas and Yuuri by switching back and forth rapidly.

 

Day 32:

- ...weird. Why is everything bigger than usual?

- Akito adopted Yuuri as his brother almost by accident. But yay, older brother!

- He also set up plans with Len to go exploring later.

- Agito laughed at Sonic when the hedgehog arrived. Nice try.

- PANCAKES. Vash is so nice~

- A little worried about Chuck...

- Akito chatted with Shallot about Halloween.

- Exploring time~!

- And later on, dinner with Yuuri and co.

- As well as some yelling at Ryohei and arguing with Kallen.

 

Day 33:

- ...turned into his ten-year-old self, wut. Made a post looking for his brother and talked with Lambo and Yuuri.

- Raced with Sonic later, and attempted to climb the dome.

- Spent most of the day exploring after that, wondering where he was and where Kaitou was.

 

Day 34:

- Akito made an early post once things were back to normal. He talked privately with Roxas and Yuuri, went into cloud cuckooland with Maya, and talked to Sonic. Said talk ended up with Agito showing off and some idle talking.

- He talked with Demyx when he arrived.

- Agito checked up on Fletcher. Akito met with him and they had a moe moment, with hugs and explaining in an attempt to comfort the kid.

- A little later, Akito met Conrad at the pet store.

- Agito somehow ended up at the bar. He proceeded to annoy the fuck out of Ed. Alfons sighed at them both.

- Halloween party~! Akito met Lavi, Tsuna and Euphie; talked with Fletcher, Maya, Len and Conrad; imitated Demyx; glomped and clung to Yuuri and eventually fell asleep on Suzaku, who took him back to his room.

 

Day 35:

- They woke up and Agito was not impressed with the world, while Akito just muttered tiredly. They also got into an argument and confused the hell out of Kallen.

- Tear returned and a sleepy Akito finally thanked her for healing them way back at Day 10.

- Agito snuck out to the butterfly pavillion. Lavi annoyed him and he chatted briefly with Tsuna.

- Akito switched over in several places. He talked with Yuuri and contemplated the idea of splitting from Agito. Lavi switched Agito over to him when the shark started getting irritated. Tsuna offered to let him fly, which was awesome. There may also be a bit of a crush developing here...

- What space-time continum? Akito replied to Lain's post about friends. He might be popular but he values them all.

- Akito later asked Sentience whether or not it'd be possible to split him and Agito apart. Turns out it is...

- The two thought on the idea later, wondering whether it was a good one. It seems so, but...maybe.

 

Day 36:

- Lind broke free... Akito briefly got to talk with Fletcher, but otherwise they were trapped...

- Conrad and Yuuri managed to help them get free sometime later.

- Akito needed to rest, and woke up a little later. Yuuri had stayed wth him and they talked. Akito also talked with Tsuna when the other came over.

 

Day 37:

- Akito talked to Sentience in the morning post and reassured Fletcher that he was fine and not going anywhere.

- Agito got annoyed with Kuzco when he arrived.

- Akito was charmed by Beatrice. She seems really nice!

- He got confused though by Battler's warning. Beatrice butted in as well and Akito just got confused by it all.

- ...then Kaito arrived. Akito went to find him while also talking to (and reassuring) Yuuri and Fletcher.

- Before finding Kaito, Akito was at Yuuri's party. He snuck away later.

 

Day 38:

- Akito talked to Sentience in the morning. Fletcher butted in, then Yuuri did. Then all hell broke loose when Kaito overheard Akito call Yuuri brother. Yuuri tried to help and Conrad also got involved.

- Kaito started a beat-down on Akito. It got interupted by Conrad, Yuuri and Amaterasu coming to the rescue. Akito doesn't know what to think now...

- (Backdated) Akito met Wolfram when Yuuri took him to the room they share.

- Akito couldn't sleep. He talked to Maya, Len and Joshua. In the end, he ended up going to back to Kaito. Too guilty to stay away...

 

Day 39:

- ...why are all the lights out? Akito talked with Chuck about it and reassured the other that he was fine, re: Kaito.

- Replied to Yuuri's call about him disappearing in the night.

- Worried about Alphonse.

- Talked to Beatrice and asked if she was feeling better.

- Talked to Tsuna when he called out to see if everyone was alright.

- Akito made a post later. During it, he explained what was going on and had some bonding time with Kaito. He also talked with Len, Maya and Yuuri. Roxas said he'd leave a light for Akito, and he was both annoyed and amused at Allen and Road.

 

Day 40:

- Agito was out most of the day. When the fire started, he watched from a distance and briefly spoke with Joshua.

- Later, Kaito got him some clothes. He also tried to stop Len angering his brother, but was too late.

 

Day 41:

- Akito is sick :< He talks to Len and Maya, stops Yuuri arguing with Kaito, has a little bit of bonding time with Kaito, and gets some help via magic from Beatrice.

- Later played Truth or Dare a bit with Euphie and Beatrice.

 

Day 42:

- Akito rejoiced over the fact Sentience was back~

- He also agreed to help the Earl with his hat, only to get warned against both him and Road by Allen and Lavi. Agito spoke to the two when Akito retreated on them.

- Akito later went to comfort Len when he found out Rin was gone.

- ...oh god mistletoe robots. Akito was forced into kissing Conrad, Muraki, Cheri, Wolfram, Yuuri, Kaito and Tsuna. He also admitted to Tsuna that he liked him, bolting (handwaved) when someone came up to them.

 

Day 43:

- Sentience has a gift for Akito? :o

- DDR time!
